Born and raised in the vibrant city of Los Angeles, CA, Rev. Alvin L. Isaacs is the inspiring product of a loving family as one of six children to Mr. and Mrs. John Isaacs. His spiritual journey began at Bethsaida Missionary Baptist Church, where he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. In 1990, feeling the divine call to ministry, Rev. Isaacs announced his intentions, leading to his licensing and ordination in 1993 at True Vine Baptist Church in Inglewood, CA.
In the same year, he took on the monumental role of Senior Pastor and Headmaster at Calvary Christian Fellowship Church and School in Inglewood. For over sixteen transformative years, Rev. Isaacs led his congregation and the school community, where hundreds embraced faith in Christ and thousands of inner-city students received a quality education.
In 2017, after serving in an interim capacity, Rev. Isaacs was elected Senior Pastor at Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church in Richmond, Kentucky, a role he balances with bi-vocational commitments. His dedication to community service earned him the prestigious title of Kentucky Colonel from Governor Steven L. Beshear and the Key to the City of Lexington from Mayor Jim Gray in 2015 after being keynote speaker at Elenor Sparks Day of Prayer.
Academically, Rev. Isaacs holds a Bachelor’s in Church Administration and a Master’s in Biblical Counseling from The Ministerial Training Institute in Los Angeles, CA. He also studied Business Administration with a focus on Information Systems at San Jose State University and completed a certificate program at Harvard School of Divinity.
In 2006 and 2007, Rev. Isaacs expanded his ministry’s reach through cross-cultural evangelistic work in Eastern Europe with Bridge Builders International, making impactful visits to Latvia, Russia, Denmark, and the Czech Republic.
Beyond his spiritual leadership, Rev. Isaacs is a savvy business professional. He served as the Executive Director of Calvary Christian Community Development Services Corp and the Chief Executive Officer of AI Technologies Inc.
